This adventure begins on the western ridge of the Sacred Valley of the Incas “Chichero”, a very important Inca city in the region that helped develop and strengthen the socio-political, religious, and economic views of the local people during Incan times. Nowadays, you can appreciate the developed architectural wealth still present from the last Inca period with works carved in the living rock, full of mystery. You will Explore the important ancient city while your guide provides background and context of Chichero’s historical significance. We will also be able to visit local artisans, who will teach us the ancient traditions of making Inca handicrafts and the use of traditional elements and instruments for dyeing and weaving.

The Inca trail descends through the Qhapac ñan (royal Inca trail), an Inca network communication system. Along the trail we will cross beautiful valleys, formed by small creeks that flow from the surrounding mountains and feed the main Urubamba river of the sacred valley where forests are full of flora and fauna unique of this region. Along the walk we will reach the beautiful waterfall of “POC POC” with an approximate height of 25 meters. Undoubtedly a great natural attraction known to only a few, full of clean, crystalline water.
