DAY 1: CUSCO – CACHORA – CHIKISKA - SANTA ROSA ALTA
Early in the morning, after we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco we will travel in our private van for 3 ½ until the beginning of the CAPULIYOC hike (2,800 meters / 9,500 feet). Here we will meet our muleteers and mules; who will transport our staff during this adventure. After getting ready we will start with the adventure where we will basically start downhill to the Apurimac Valley for 2 hours until the viewpoint of Cocamasana, from where we will be able to see a nice view and feel the refreshing breeze. After 1 hour we will get to the lunch place, where our great chef with his skills will make a tasty first menu.
After 1 hour twenty we will arrive at ROSALINAS beach (1,550 m / 5,117 ft.). Then we will start the uphill journey through the endless zigzag path to the SANTA ROSA ALTA camp (2,300 meter /7,545 feet).

DAY 2: SANTA ROSA ALTA – MARANPATA-CHOQUEQUIRAO- ANDENES DE LA LLAMA
After a healthy breakfast, we will go to the citadel of CHOQUEQUIRAO (3,055 meters / 10,022 feet). First we will ascend through a zigzagging way to MARANPATA for about 2 ½ hours, from where we can see in the distance the first view of the citadel and the fascinating canyon surrounded by mountains and waterfalls.
Then we will continue along a steep, undulating trail through the rainforest for 2 hours to the camp site, located in the heart of the citadel.
After lunch we will go to explore the Main Square and head west and descend to the Llama platforms; they are works of great invoice that were designed in the terraces, figures of llamas that are distinguished in the platforms or terraces with lighter color figures; as if someone had painted them on the walls. They are located on the west of the citadel on the vertical slope of the canyon. And we will be delighted with the sunset, and with luck we will be able to observe the flight of the Condors who take advantage of the hot air to propel themselves upwards and continue their trajectory gliding through the Apurímac canyon.

DAY 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO- RIO BLANCO-MAIZAL
We will wake up with a hot drink and after tasting a delicious breakfast we will return to the main square of CHOQUEQUIRAO and visit its sacred places with the first rays of the sun that dazzle its scenic charm.
Then we will continue uphill for 1 ½ hours, and then we will walk along a very narrow path around the pass of Choquequirao, then downhill through typical native trees we will reach the Rio Blanco (1,990 m / 6,527 ft.), where we will refresh ourselves with a bath of the water that comes from the glaciers and we will also taste a delicious lunch. And then we will begin to ascend a steep, demanding trail to our Maizal camp (3,000 meters / 9,842 feet).
We will enjoy incredible views, we will have dinner and we will spend the night over the highest high canyons in the area.

DAY 4: CHOQUEAUIRAO - RIO BLANCO – PASO SAN JUAN - YANAMA
In the morning after a big breakfast we will continue our climb along the path that raises through the cloud forest of native trees and before the pass it is the Victoria Mine, an old mine. After a break in the San Juan Pass (4,130 meters / 13,546 feet), we will descend to the charming Andean community of Yanama (4,100 meters / 13,541 feet)

DAY 5: YANAMA-SANTA TERESA PUEBLO - HOT SPRINGS
We will wake up with the air and oxygen typical of the Andes with a delicious breakfast and then after getting ready and organized we will board a local vehicle to go through the Andes and a lush vegetation typical of the cloud forest surrounded by beautiful waterfalls towards the town of Santa Teresa. At 10 minutes by transport you will find the largest and most crystalline baths of the Sacred Valley. We will take a bath in these thermo-medicinal waters. We will spend the night in the same town of Santa Teresa.

DAY 6: SANTA TERESA - HYDROELECTRIC STATION -AGUAS CALIENTES PUEBLO
After a healthy breakfast, we take the transport for 40 minutes to the hydroelectric train station. From there we will continue a moderate walk on foot for 3 hours following the railway. On the way we will enjoy the exuberant vegetation of the tropical high forest and the formation of the Machupicchu and Huaynapicchu mountains until reaching the town of Aguas Calientes. After checking in at the hotel we will have the opportunity of exploring the city or relax at the hotel. We will have dinner in an elegant restaurant in the village.
Extra things to take advantage: If you are a lover of extreme adventure we recommend you to zip line, this extreme adrenaline activity has 05 lines of approximate 3 km in total, and 01 Tibetan bridge of 120 meters long. This activity can be done after breakfast, since you will only have a 3-hour walk. (Not included)

DAY 7: AGUAS CALIENTES PUEBLO-MACHUPICCHU-CUSCO
What we were waiting for so long, Machupicchu! After an early breakfast at our hotel, we will take the early bus to Machu Picchu. Where you will have a guided tour of the most important places of 2 hours.
Then you will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes to board the EXPEDICIÓN train service to the Ollantaytambo train station, where our private transport will wait for you to take you all the way to the city of Cusco.
The travel time from the town of Aguas Calientes to Cusco is about 4 hours.
