DAY 1: CUSCO - ALQATARI - AUSANGATE – ANANTA–Q'ELLWACOCHA
On the first day, you will begin your journey from Cusco, at approximately 4am. Traveling in our private van for 3:30 hours to the small village of Alkatara (4,390 mts / 14,400) the trailhead. Upon our arrival we meet our horsemen and horses. While we enjoy the view and packing our gear up our breakfast will be prepared by our chef.
We begin our gentile hike heading up of 3 hours, passing by green valley rounded by local houses with plenty llamas and alpacas grazing that are camouflage in the nature, with Red Mountain slopes.
As long as we hike up we will reach Pucacocha pass (4,923 mt/ 16,150 ft) the first pass of our hike, it will give us an stunning view of Ausangate glacier that stand in from and down below beautiful turquoise lakes that harmonize as the jewels of Ausangate!
From here, after we take great pictures, we will continue on soft downhill for 1:30 hours to Ananta (4,713 mt/15,462 ft) a delightful lunch spot! Where our chef will prepare a healthy delicious food.
After take a little nap, we will continue hiking for another 1:30 hours to get at the highest pass Warmisaya (4,996 mt / 16,390 ft). After hard climb of we will be rewarded with a 360-degree view and also, we will have the first view of the rainbow mountain in the distance, then we walk a short down to arrive the lake Q’ellwacocha and camp around it (4,796 mt / 15,7342 ft). In the evening after to have our chef’s skillfulness of Peruvian cuisine, at night time we will see and unforgettable sky with the constellations, Milky Way and shooting stars. Sleeping in a hotel of hundreds of stars!

DAY 2: ANATA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN VINICUNCA-CUSCO
We will wake you up early in the morning with a hot cap of coffee or the energetic coca tea to get our goal of Rainbow Mountain. Our chef will be preparing breakfast to get fueled up for the hike ahead of you. After 1:30 hours we will arrive to the rainbow mountain of Vinicunca and enjoy the sun rise being the first group that beats the crowd.
Then we will walk by a narrow path of 25 minutes to reach the viewpoint of the Red Valley from where we will have spectacular views of the red valley; it's literally like being on mars!
Finally, we will leave this stoning geographical formation and walk for an hour to the bus station (4,390 mt. /14,402 ft.), not far from there driving is the lunch spot, where our chef will prepare a delicious lunch.
Then we will drive back to Cusco and drop you at your hotel.
