THE LOST ANCIENT INCA TRAIL " ANCASCOCHA TREK"
- CUSCO - RAYANNIYOC - ANCASCOCHA LAKE - PAUCAR CANCHA - MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO - CUSCO
If you are looking for quietness and you are adventurous, this is the path suitable for you. This is one of the unknown trails in the Andes and a very little offered by companies, but surely in the future it will become very popular. It is weird to see hikers on this new route, and with very little information about it. However, the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, considers it as one of the 20 best roads in the world.
The Ancascocha to Machupicchu tour will take us through the northern Andes of Cusco, showing us great and amazing mountain formations and permanent snowcapped with beautiful valleys, waterfalls and the amazing ANCASHCOCHA lagoon. Moreover we will be able to appreciate the highest mountains and snowcapped mountains from the highest points such as the VERONICA (5,700 meters / 18,700 feet), and SALKANTAY (6,271 meters / 20,574 feet). They are inhabited by remote villages whose loneliness will make us vibrate, especially the connection with the Andean nature and the last day with the amazing Inca city of MACHUPICCHU.
